Project Palm Beach

Archtect: Maccormick Architects

Builder: FS Hough

Site Management: Harry Reynolds

A unique build situated on Ocean Road, Palm Beach, this project offered unparalleled access to the beach. However, the site presented significant challenges, with a large portion of the block originally deemed unbuildable due to the steep, overgrown cliff face.

Over a two-year process involving countless crane lifts, hand excavation, and extensive clearing works, the team successfully transformed the once unusable land into a luxury secondary dwelling and entertaining retreat.

The completed project features a resort-style pool, gym, outdoor dining area, and beautifully integrated landscaped spaces — all designed to maximise the property’s incredible coastal setting.

Topping it all off is a one-of-a-kind inclinator system, seamlessly linking all three levels of the property together and providing both practicality and a truly unique experience.

Project Mosman House

Archtect: Maccormick Architects

Builder: FS Hough

Site Management: Harry Reynolds

Photography: Pablo Veiga

Situated in a quiet pocket of Mosman, this home was designed around natural, sweeping curves that created a unique experience as you moved through the space, evoking a sense of calm and tranquillity throughout.

The project presented a number of challenges, including the retention of two existing boundary walls to comply with DA requirements and bushfire regulations. Despite these constraints, the home was carefully crafted to maintain both functionality and architectural elegance.

The extensive use of timber throughout the different levels of the home, combined with a unique floating staircase and sweeping balustrading, created a warm and inviting atmosphere — welcoming you home to unwind and relax after a long day.
