Building is more than a trade to us—it’s a passion. Reynolds Building and Joinery was established to bring a higher level of care and expertise to the Central West. Harry, our Director and Owner, moved to Orange with his wife Lauren from Sydney in search of more space for their growing family.

Harry began his career as a carpenter, completing his apprenticeship straight out of school before progressing through a variety of roles within the construction industry. Over time, he worked his way up to becoming a Site Manager for a high-end architectural building company.

With a genuine passion for craftsmanship and the fundamentals of carpentry, Harry believes that great building always starts with strong carpentry principles. No matter how far his career progressed, you could never take the nail belt away from him — he was always looking for ways to keep his skills sharp and stay hands-on with the trade.

Harry firmly believes that every great builder should first understand carpentry before understanding the broader building process as a whole.

In recent years, Harry has managed and delivered a number of incredible builds featuring state-of-the-art infrastructure, home automation, and advanced programming systems — from fully integrated KNX smart home systems to sophisticated DALI lighting control solutions.

One of the most notable projects involved the integration of a closed-loop geothermal system into a residential home. This innovative system delivered significant benefits through highly efficient water-cooled air conditioning, underfloor heating, hot water supply, and pool and spa heating — creating a sustainable, energy-efficient home.

With over 10 years of experience across a diverse range of projects — from heritage restorations to ultra-modern homes — Reynolds Building and Joinery is the perfect partner to bring your dream home to life, no matter the size or scope of the project.
